The Founder
Bob
Thompson (www.bob-thompson.net)
is a unique character with many diverse interests
and skills. Widely travelled, a real doer and no nonsense
entrepreneur with thirteen years in the Military and
a further nineteen working in Corporate Procurement,
latterly as EMEA Procurement Director for a global
Software Company.
Bob
is also a Co-Founder of Internet-Shared (www.internet-shared.com),
which offers diverse Social Media Applications like
Ideas-Shared (www.ideas-shared.com);
partnering with Ivar Ingimarsson who is a Professional
Football Player at Reading Football Club.
His
online experience started in 1998 when he first went
online. A Network Marketer for 20 years; he's even
been an Online Instructor for a US Marketing Company.
Outside
of the Internet, as a Senior Procurement Executive,
Bob has gained lots of experience transforming Corporate
Procurement across EMEA and he's developed from scratch
a Procurement Consultancy which successfully sold
into the UK Public Sector as well as co-wrote an e-Procurement
and Inventory System using .Net.
Bob
believes in a combination of Technology, Processes,
Resources and leading edge thinking to create Procurement
integration and improvement within the Corporate Sector
(which is also useful in the Public and Not for Profit
Sectors); in order to provide significant multi-million
£ commercial value. It's from this base that
his unique MLM Club has evolved.
Bob
understands that the Internet has a huge part to play
in enhancing peoples' lives everywhere and that the
right applications are the key to doing this. His
passion for all things Internet and Procurement is
self evident.
Bob

He
lives in the UK with his wife and two young boys.
